Rufus and Bill.

Hello FRIEND'S OF DHARMA!
Here is a cool story Mama and Papa
 HEARD
 when they were in Scotland.
DON'T WE JUST LOVE OUR PETS?

This is Rufus.
HELLO RUFUS!
Rufus is an Ethiopian Tortoise.
He is about 20 years old.
QUITE THE BIG GUY HUH?
He belongs to Bill.
Bill was one of the tour leaders during
our Highland trip last month with Albannach.
It is a Scottish bagpipe drum band.
Bill shared that when it gets to below 60 its too cold for old Rufus so he has to pick him up and pulls him around in a little wagon.
HAH, THAT IS FUNNY.

Now that Rufus is older
he comes to Bill when he is called.
WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?

He even has his OWN LITTLE HUT for him to stay.
This is not only for shelter,
but for when
BILL THE DOG
IS ANNOYING HIM LIKE CRAZY!!

Rufus gets to live outside from spring to fall.
Mama has a relative with two tortoises
and they live in a box
in the winter
in a closet
and hibernate.
FUNNY HUH?

This is Bill.
A MASTIFF WITH MIGHTY BIG,
I MEAN MIGHTY BIG PAWS.
Bill is about 105 pounds and
HAS TERRIBLE SCARS.

THIS IS BECAUSE HE WAS
TIED TO A TREE
AND LEFT.

I mean sometimes a person might tie their dog outside,
FOR SOME SOME SUNSHINE,

BUT TO FORGET ABOUT THEM?
NO WAY JOSE,
THAT JUST
AIN'T RIGHT.

I feel sad just thinking about it. 

From the moment
BILL SAW BILL,
Bill the man
became
BILL THE MAIN MAN.

This canine
loves this guy.
HE ALSO LOVES
KALE, STRAWBERRIES AND LIMES.
BILL THE DOGS
MOST FAVORITE THING?
LEANING UP AGAINST
BILL THE
MAIN MAN.

Isn't it great how creatures will come into our lives

AND WE WILL LOVE THEM
AS OUR VERY OWN.
