Hello Everybody: FB click here to see "THE REST OF THE STORY". www.dharmadoxie.com
This is my cousin Drogo!
Did I tell you he was named for
of course from "The Game of Thrones".
And boy, does he have the
PERSONALITY TO GO WITH HIS NAME!
What a character.
Anyway, he sent me a story that I want to send along.
Hint, Hint, MY THOUGHTS ARE IN RED!!
IT IS REALLY HARD FOR ME NOT TO HAVE A OPINION.
MY NEW BROTHER:
by Drogo Estes
my humans brought a puppy home.
They call him Samwise,
or SamSam for short.
Did you know that Uncle Jeff and Mama
named a Christmas tree one year Samwise?
I have a mini horse brother Bilbo, a mini goat brother Pippin and a brother cat Frodo at home.
I guess you could say we come from a family
WHOSE ROOTS GO ALL THE WAY BACK TO MIDDLE EARTH).
is small, but he eats a lot.
And he is very fluffy.
Mama Heather has given us many toys and we got a new fence!
This means I can go chase birds whenever I want to!
I am jealous, I want a fenced in yard!
OH MY GOSH
ISN'T HE FREAKING ADORABLE?
YOU CAN'T GET MUCH CUTER THAN HIM.
I am teaching Samwise how to play, go to the bathroom outside, and how to put away our toys.
Mama Heather cuddles a lot with Samwise, but that means I get snuggles with Papa Conrad. Lucky dogs.
The puppy is teaching me patience and kindness.
I wonder how big he will get?
And how much of the food he will eat?
I miss my brother Merlin and Stony Wall so much!
You are so lucky Drogo,
you don't even know.
Sometimes, Samwise annoys me.
But Mama Heather says that I will always be the big brother.
Maybe that means he will give me his leftovers?
I guess having a brother isn't so bad.
Samwise can be my little, fluffy sidekick.
Maybe one day we can go on an adventure together.
Hey come and visit me and we can all have adventures together!
I will teach him about birds, and squirrels,(and chipmunks, oh my!)
and how to give me all of his food. You got it cousin.
Welcome to the family,
Of course named after
"The Lord of the Rings". b
Great picture here of ME, the LITTLE GUY and my MAMA!. Another one of Sam Sam, Mama's toes, and me. Hah!!

Hey Kurt over at Hollis Publishing!
Thank you from Me and MY MAMA AND MY PAPA for sending this to us.
HOW COOL IS THIS?
We were at the New England Author's event and
everyone had a sign for their publisher and then we thought about Kurt
and all of the wonderful folks over there.
I mean COME ON, THEY DESERVE RECOGNITION TOO.
So I asked Kurt and this is what they sent. THANK YOU KURT!
It is a little sign with a stand on the back so it stands up all by itself
so that when we TAKE DHARMA DOXIE ON THE ROAD,
PEOPLE WILL KNOW
WHO DID THE WONDERFUL PRINTING JOB
ON THE BOOK!
You would not think that it would be such a great thing,
IN THE SCOPE OF ALL OF LIFE,
but I thought it was cool, AS DID THE OLD FOLKS TOO.
So here I am telling you my story while my Mama is listening to
LOVE SHACK from the B52's and MY SHARONA From The Knack.
Who hoo, we are having a dance party tonight!!
Thanks for listening in. Love Dharma Dharma.

Oh my goodness, the folks came home singing
"Here comes Dharma Doxie!"
Papa says it was so great to see all of the kid's again.
To hear all of the little kids
LEARN THE WORDS TO MY SONG
SING IT LOUD AND CLEAR.
Oh my, oh my, oh my, GO SING IT ON THE MOUNTAIN!!
It was so wild he said to hear children
singing it in the hallway.
The best part of all of this
is that the Title One People
EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THE CHILDREN
with a soft cover copy of my book.
For many of them
THIS IS THE VERY FIRST BOOK
THAT IS THEIR VERY OWN.
THAT ISN'T BAD PARTNER!
Mama signed for me,
EACH AND EVERY BOOK
PUT THE STUDENT'S NAME IN IT.
I WAS SPEECHLESS
WHEN PAPA TOLD ME!
And so my Papa and my Mama got to give a
HUG FROM ME TO
EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM. HOW FUN!
Even little Juan (check out earlier story) came over
and gave my Mama a hug.
I don't mind Juan, I love hugging her myself.
I wish I could have been there but it was just
TOO HOT FOR ME. I was home eating "Frosty Paws", doggie ice cream on the couch
while I was laying underneath the ceiling fan.
NOW THAT IS KEEPING COOL IN THE SUMMERTIME, DON'T YOU THINK?

Say hello to Arden, Rosie and Grace.
On a BEAUTIFUL SUMMER DAY
they came to SUMMER FEST
and dropped by to visit LITTLE OLD ME.
Their grandmother Robin and great grand ma (they call her Ole Man, funny huh) came out for a beautiful day to STROLL DOWN THE MAIN STREET and check out all of the goodies and GREAT PEOPLE TO VISIT.
Mama says that she has not heard any one called OLD MAN
since she was a teenager during the sixties, and of course
that is what she called her father.
YES THAT WAS DURING THE DINOSAUR AGE.
Each of them even GOT ONE OF MY BOOKS
ALL THEIR VERY OWN.
SO THANK YOU ARDEN, ROSIE AND GRACE FOR COMING BY TO VISIT!
Say hello to Jayne from the Post Office in Wilton.
The great folks there would often allow students
to do bake sales in front of the P.O. when Mama
worked in Wilton. Still GREAT FOLKS.
THANK YOU for letting us set up in front of your office.

Say hello to Leo.
HAVE YOU NOTICED,
HE HAS A
HEART SHAPED NOSE
JUST LIKE ME!!
CHECK IT OUT.
So think about this for a minute.
When a dog is raised in an environment where people
are less than sensitive. Where that dog lives a life in a cage,
and who's only value is how much a person can get for that dog,
WELL THAT IS
VERY SAD INDEED.
DON'T YOU THINK?
So Leo, that is how he started his life. When he moved to his FOREVER HOME he had sores on his feet and a hematoma on one of his ears. His hair was thick and matted and he had to be partially shaved just to get it off.
His back fee face out and he walks like a duck from hip dysplasia.
Of course living in a cage DID NOT HELP. Would you trust humans if this was your life?
I CANNOT IMAGINE. Anyway, Leo went to his forever home. And
MIRACLE OF MIRACLES.
HE WAS OFFERED LOVE AND TRUST!
AND, HE GAVE IT BACK, HE GAVE IT BACK!
WHOO HOO LEO!
"IT IS ONLY FITTING THAT HE HAS A
HEART SHAPED NOSE AS HE IS 14 POUNDS OF
Thank you to Mama Kelly and
